Eco-Ideal Consulting Sdn. Bhd. is grateful to be appointed as the consultant to conduct a baseline study on the current waste management and recycling status in the island of Langkawi. This baseline study is an inevitable first step towards piloting the first Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) pilot project towards post-consumer packaging waste in Malaysia.

EPR is a mechanism to ensure manufacturers and producers to play their role in reducing the ecological impact of the packaging waste resulted from their products.
