As one of the important steps for Malaysia to go towards net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions as early as 2050, Bursa Malaysia is currently working with relevant ministries and stakeholders to develop a Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) and they are targeting to launch the market by the end of 2022. With this mission, Bursa Malaysia has established a VCM Industry Working Group (Suppliers)(IWG-Suppliers) comprising a selected group of companies with aspirations to issue carbon credits or those with prior experiences in the carbon credit issuance process. We are proud to share that our CEO, Eng. Soon Hun Yang was invited to be a part of the IWG-Suppliers committee.
