Transparent disclosure of greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions, often referred to as carbon emissions, is fast becoming an important part of the sustainability reporting by public listed companies in Malaysia. In line with the drive by Bank Negara as well as the ESG agenda, more and more financial institutions are moving ahead towards the low carbon agenda.

Eco-Ideal has been appointed by another major bank here in Malaysia to conduct a greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory assessment based on international corporate GHG accounting principles and methodologies.

The coverage will include all emissions from their entire operation in Malaysia, covering Scope 1,2 and 3 (partial) emissions.
