15 million pounds from the “Prosperity Fund” has been principally approved by the Minister in charge in UK for a four (4) year Low Carbon Energy Programme to be utilised in five (5) South East Asia countries i.e. Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam and the Philippines. Two (2) thematic areas have been selected i.e. energy efficiency and green financing.

A team led by Ms. Camilla Fenning, Head of South East Asia, Climate & Energy Network from the UK Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) based in Singapore visited various relevant stakeholders recently. The team is also supported by Joshua Brunert representing Carbon Trust UK.

Eco-Ideal was engaged to support the organisation of stakeholder engagement.
