Solid waste, Environmental Planning and Strategy, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, Hazardous Substance and Biodiversity are all components of the Environmental Cooperation Programme (ECP).
BRIEF PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Objective:
An efficient, cost-effective and sustainable solid waste management (SWM) system to safeguard public health and the environment and to enhance the quality of life in Malaysia.The 2 sub-components designed to meet this objective are:

Capacity to support the implementation of the NSP on SWM developed at 10 Local Authorities (LAs ), 3-4 States and at the Federal level.
