You are invited to join us for our program Finale/Showcase on March 17 2021 at 9-10:30am SGT.  The session will be in the form of a panel discussion on Sustainable Infrastructure in Southeast Asia. It features the four Canadian companies graduating from this year’s Canadian Technology Accelerator – Energy Efficiency Cohort and guest speaker Yatin Premchand, Managing Director, Management Consulting at Black & Veatch. The session will be moderated by Alexander Ablaza, CEO, Climargy and Co-chair, Asia-Pacific ESCO Industry Alliance, and will center on the growing trends and opportunities across Southeast Asia for innovations in building management technology, waste heat recovery and re-utilization, energy storage and carbon utilization and their ability to address some of the sustainability challenges facing the built environment.

The four (4) selected Canadian companies for this program are CarbonCure, SHARC Energy, TROES and WeavAir.

CarbonCure is the global leader in CO2 utilization for the concrete industry.

Recycled CO2, captured from industrial emitters, is injected into fresh concrete during production, using CarbonCure’s proprietary technology. The CO2 converts to a nano-mineral and becomes permanently trapped. Producers optimize their mix designs and gain competitive advantages while reducing the embodied carbon of the concrete built environment.

Pioneer in thermal energy recovery from wastewater. SHARC Energy’s systems recycle thermal energy from wastewater, generating one of the most sustainable, energy-efficient and economical solutions for heating, cooling & hot water production in commercial, residential and industrial buildings.

SHARC Energy’s products are low carbon, thermal water and greenhouse gas pollution-reducing electric alternatives to traditional hot water and space conditioning technologies.

SHARC Energy’s commercialized and patented solutions are the SHARC Series, an industrial-sized wastewater heat recovery & filtration, and the PIRANHA Series, as self-contained wastewater heat pump with an all-in-one heating + cooling option.

An advanced battery energy storage company, specializing in Intelligent Distributed Energy Storage solutions.

Based on LifePO4 technology, TROES develops, designs manufactures and delivers safer, longer-lasting cloud-based energy storage systems that integrate own proprietary IoT and AI-based modular Battery Packs, Battery Management Systems (BMS), Enclosures and Power Conversion System (PCS).

TROES also offers modular, “Off-The-Shell” and scalable designs, which can cover a wide range of energy needs and applications throughout the commercial, industrial, institutional, and micro-grid segments with very competitive financing/leasing terms and shorter manufacturing lead time.

WeavAir offers an end-to-end property intelligence solution composed of plug & play multi-sensor IoT devices that measure 20 different metrics at 95% accuracy and predictive software to enable fast & accurate decisions in improving indoor air quality while improving energy efficiency.

They track the air quality, comfort, HVAC system performance, operations as well as space occupancy to help reduce the spread of infection. WeavAir helps operators save up to 30% of operation and maintenance costs, save up to 60% of energy, make better decisions to control the spread of airborne contamination while reducing reputation risks, liability and downtime. The ROI of the system is less than 2 years and it can save over US$ 300K per installation per year.

Attendees will have an opportunity to engage with the presenters during the Q&A session and connect with them following the event to learn more about their technologies.
