Biomass waste has huge potential to be converted into a renewable fuel for power generation in Malaysia.

Recently the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) released 20 MW of Biomass feed-in-tariff (FiT) quota based on first come first serve basis.

Eco-Ideal assisted a client to successfully obtained a quota of 4MW under the Biomass category for a project located in Kedah.

The project will utilize a mixture of biomass waste, including palm oil empty fruit bunch (EFB), bamboo and some wood waste.
