Eco-Ideal participated in the Asia Pacific Carbon Forum (APCW) this year which took place at Bangkok, Thailand. The event was held at United Nations Building on 13-14 December 2017.
The Forum aimed to promote economic instruments and market-based actions for the implementation of cost-effective mitigation and adaptation measures achieving countries’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
The future of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) was deliberated. The focus of the discussion was on the transition of CDM into a new mechanism which will align with the Article 6 of Paris Agreement. Emission Trading System (ETS) of different Asia-Pacific countries such as Korea, China and Thailand were also shared during the Forum.
