The 2016 Greenhouse Gas Inventory for Iskandar Malaysia was officially introduced at a side event at the 23rd Conference of Parties (COP) event under the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Bonn, Germany yesterday. Presence at the event was the Chief Minister of Johor, Dato’ Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Johor State Exco for Environment and Health, Y.B Datuk Ayub Bin Rahmat as well as the Chief Executive of Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA).

The initiative, in line with the Low Carbon Society Blueprint for Iskandar Malaysia, was driven by IRDA. Eco-Ideal is proud to be one of the key contributors to the inventory.

This is the second report following the inaugural Greenhouse Gas Inventory released for 2015 last year. Congratulations again to IRDA and Johor for such far-sight.
