On 26^th October 2015, the latest gas engine with an installed capacity of 2 MW and export capacity of 1.5 MW has been initially tested for grid connection.

The latest MTU gas engine by Rolls Royce, will add to the 4.4 MW installed capacity already in place, making the Bukit Tagar Sanitary Landfill site the largest landfill gas power generation project in Malaysia with a total accumulated installed capacity of 6.4 MW!
