The 8^th claim for Landfill Gas Extraction and Utilisation at Bukit Tagar Sanitary Landfill was officially accepted and issued by the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change (UNFCCC) Executive Board on 11 September 2015.

A total of around 180,000 CERs were issued in accordance to the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) standards.

Eco-Ideal is playing the role of CDM as well as project management consultant to the project, which generates between 3-4 MW of green power from landfill gas which otherwise will contribute to global warming.
