Kuching Community Centre Society (KCCS), previously known as Kuching Community Centre (KCC), has been contributing to the sustainable urban development in Kuching via its decade of voluntary initiatives in environmental protection. KCCS is a non-government organisation that is also running in a not for profit model.

The key activities of KCCS are the operation of a 3-R green centre which promotes and practice reduce, reuse and recycling to the community. Apart from waste management, KCCS also promotes low carbon actions and energy saving measures. Various awareness activities, training programmes, donations to the needy had been organised over the years. You can follow KCCS on facebook:

Eco-Ideal plays a very strategic role in sustaining this voluntary action, with our CEO Engr. Soon Hun Yang elected as the President of KCCS and our manager Ms. Chen Saw Ling as the Hon.Secretary to KCCS.  Such voluntary participation strengthens our corporate social responsibility to our society and we believe this is a very unique approach to give back to our community.

A new publication has been prepared to document the contribution and footprint of the voluntary work. It is with pleasure that our staffs provided voluntary assistance to the completion of this publication. Key contribution is on the review and coordination by Soon and Chen, proofread (Ms. Ng Tung Yan), design and layout (Ms. Chang Siaw Yen) and photo contribution (Ms. Josephine Liew).
