The Feed in Tariff commencement date for Bukit Tagar Sanitary Landfill Gas to Power grid export to TNB of 1 MW was successfully achieved on 8 June 2012.

According to Sustainable Energy Development Authority’s website (accessed 24 Oct 12), this makes Bukit Tagar the first Feed In Approval Holder for biogas (landfill/sewage) category to achieve the FIT commencement.

An additional 3 MW export from the same site is expected to be achieved by end of 2012.
