JICA E-waste Study Surveys

A pilot project for e-waste in Penang Island, titled “The Project for Model Development for e-waste Collection, Segregation and Transportation from Households for Recycling” has kicked off. The project is funded by Japanese International Corporation Agency (JICA) and implemented by Department of Environment with cooperation from Pulau Pinang Municipal Council.

The project aims to establish a model for e-waste collection and recycling in Malaysia.

Eco-Ideal has been appointed to conduct a questionnaire survey on the Penang Island, covering households and business on their e-waste management and opinions.
