2 Jun 2011 is the date when the successful uploading of electricity generated from renewable fuel (landfill gas) to the national grid operated by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) was achieved.

After several months of preparation and testing, finally the commissioning of the gas engine and grid inter-connection was successful!

The renewable energy sells is based on the Renewable Energy Power Purchase Agreement signed between KUB-Berjaya Enviro Sdn Bhd (KBE) and TNB earlier in August 2010.

This will be another milestone project in meeting the national policy to increase power generation from renewable source as well as to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
