Workshop on Web-Based Solid Waste Reporting System for Sarawak

A workshop on establishing a web-based solid waste data reporting system was held on 11 December 2009 in Pullman Hotel, Kuching of Sarawak.

The workshop was organised by Eco-Ideal and Veksebo (Denmark), supported by the Natural Resources and Environment Board of Sarawak. The workshop is funded under the Danish Partnership Facility Programme which aims to extend the Malaysia Waste Reporting (MYWASTE) system already developed in Peninsula Malaysia to State of Sarawak.

25 participants, representing the Ministry of Environment and Public Health, Natural Resources and Environmental Board Sarawak and 5 key local authorities in the Southern Region of Sarawak, attended the workshop.
