PETALING JAYA: Environmentally aware voters are advised to vote wisely and use the election as a platform to voice out their concerns in regards to sustainable development in their areas.
The Friends of Kota Damansara (FOKD) who started the new Green Voter initiative wants the voters to give their vote only to candidates who take issues such as environmental and traffic impacts into consideration when planning and approving development plans.
Top on its list is the clearing of the Sungai Buloh Forest for development under the Petaling Jaya Local Draft Plan 2 (RTPJ2).
